Product Description/Purpose
The ISB model 760 valve sack filler is designed for filling powders into various sized valve sacks. Material is fed into the top of the machine either using a loading hopper or a FIBC discharging stand. The valve sack filler may also be installed directly under a mixer. The machine will handle a wide range of powders as it is made from stainless or mild steel and has a 2 speed drive. As product is filled it is weighed, when it reaches a target weight the speed will slow down and feed the product in at a slower rate. The filler uses 2 load cells for accuracy. All the bearings have a seal and air gap between them and the product ,so if a seal leaks the product will be seen and will not enter the bearing.
The filler is on 4 castors for manuvorbility, and an open frame so the machine is easy to clean and there is nowhere for product to build up unnoticed. At the inlet of the filler there is a valve to help control more fluid products.

OPERATION
The required weight is first programmed into the controller. A valve sack is placed on the valve sack hanger and the filler is then started. The filler will run at the first speed until the first required weight is reached, once this is reached the filler will slow down to the second speed and then stop when the final weight is reached. The filled sack is now removed and another one place onto the hanger, the operation starts again.
MAINTENANCE
The ISB 740 valve sack filler is easy to maintain due to all the grease points for the bearings are sited at the front of the machine. There is only one guard covering all moving parts and this removed by extracting 4 - M6 screws. There is also a window in the guard for the inspection of the belts, seals and bearings.
