GENERAL
The ISB 450 pressout is easy to install and operate. The pressout is designed for the removing of viscous materials from 205L drums, and due to they're being few moving parts in contact with the material, this makes the pressout ideal for the removal of harsh abrasive materials. The pressout is sited and then bolted to the floor and all that is needed is an electrical supply (there is no water cooling needed).
There is very little heat generated due to the fact there is no pressure relief valve and the hydraulic pump only delivers the required amount of oil to the hydraulic cylinder. If the supply of product at the filling head is stopped and started frequently (as in filling tubs or cartridges) there is no pressure build up and thus, no surging at the filling head.
The feed of product maybe adjusted at any time during the pressing operation by adjusting hydraulic pressure on the pump.

OPERATION
Before a 205L drum maybe placed in the pressout the corset must be unlocked by removing the key from the electrical starter, and placing it in the interlock. Once this is carried out the corset is opened and the drum placed in. The “o” ring is fitted and the corset closed. The key is removed and put in the starter. The pressout is now started and the piston plate is lowered onto the product. This forces the product out of the drum and up a flexible pipe to the filling head. When the drum is empty the cycle is repeated.
MAINTENANCE
The ISB 450 pressout is easy to maintain, the only parts that require attention are the hydraulic filters, product 'o' ring and the oil.
